Note by Author: At this date (October 1995) neither the location of Downer’s Landing nor the identity of the tower in the background have been determined. Presumably the site is on salt water near Lynn, Mass. The photo was made in October, 1995 from an old tin-type, by Thom Hindle of Dover, New Hampshire.
